A part of learning how to create a basic circuit with the Arduino was learning the nomenclature associated with all the parts. At first without previous knowledge it made the sense to start from the top of the weeks homework and work my way down. But as vocabulary continually became more confusing without context, I realized that the best process for me might be to start with the labs. I had a lot of questions about how to visualize the path of the circuit, because although the perpendicular nature of the breadboard seemed straight forward, the random pathways felt like it could be simplified. Also, I thought that it was interesting that Arduino had a specific anatomical structure where each pin serves an individual function. I still don't understand the nature of the programming a specific output, but I'm interested in exploring it. As a recap, the pieces that I worked with were the Arduino, leds, resistors, regulators, and buttons. I think that the most enjoyable aspect of learning p.comp was the level of support and help I received from my classmates.
