In my first physical computing class we learned the importance of identifying commonalities between the way human's experience the world through their senses and the way technology interacts with information. The chain of action is shockingly similar between both the organic and mechanical bodies, which are simply divided by nomenclature.
1. Input (Sense) - 2. Process (Think) - 3. Output (Respond)
By breaking down interactions in this frame, the process of ideating for technology becomes streamlined and simple. I find the parallels between humans and machines fascinating. Do machines reflect us humans, or do they reflect a preexisting logic within the universe.
